I didn't report yesterday because there wasn't much to report. Throughout the day, I began to wonder if my challenge was a bit too easy or wouldn't really produce many results. However, I do believe that the myths that we are trying to debunk can be proven (or disproven) through this small amount of time. And the real point is to create a habit. Eventually, I can see myself adding more and more crunches to the routine. But, right now, that is not the purpose.
Today, I had a 6 mile run planned but the weather cooperated and I was able to sleep in a little bit. I still got up, took a deep breath, and started in on my crunches before I prepared for my run. I did cross crunches (the kind where you cross and crunch to the opposite leg). I think it's important to throw in some different crunches throughout the week.
It's the 4th of July weekend. Enjoy with your friends and family. Thanks to all veterans who keep our independence possible. Thanks also to Nick. We miss you everyday!
